At SN Publications, our passion for writing comes alive, inviting readers to experience stories that resonate. Members have numerous opportunities to refine their skills and express their voices through our vibrant blog, as well as in various writing competitions.
Our club fosters a welcoming environment where members gather to share their love for writing and enjoy each other’s company. Focused on creative expression and teamwork, we aim to inspire all our writers to explore and develop their unique talents.
Beyond creative writing, our members delve into journalism by interviewing, gathering stories, and producing videos. One highlight this year was our Teachers’ Day interview video, created in collaboration with the Student Council EXCO, capturing meaningful conversations with staff and students alike. In 2024, our team also began writing captions for the school’s Instagram page, covering school events and offering a platform for students’ voices to be heard.
At SN Publications, we’re not just about competitions and journalism; we also celebrate the friendships that form along the way. Together, as a team of dedicated writers, we remain committed to crafting stories that inspire and connect with our readers.

Workshop Our members participate in a variety of enriching workshops, covering skills from mastering photography and videography to conducting effective and professional interviews. These experiences equip our students with practical abilities and confidence, preparing them for real-world applications and personal growth.
Interview We actively engage with our students through interviews, providing a platform for them to share their perspectives on a range of important topics. This approach helps us understand their views and ensures that their voices contribute meaningfully to our school community.
Writing school’s Instagram posts’ captions This year, our Secondary 3 students took on the exciting role of crafting captions for the school’s Instagram posts. Through their efforts, they covered major events like Chinese New Year and National Day, honing their skills in concise and impactful writing. This initiative not only enriched their learning experience but also helped the school connect with a diverse audience, reaching people of all ages through these thoughtful, age-inclusive captions.
Competitions Our students actively participate in prestigious competitions such as the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition and The Media Challenge. These opportunities encourage innovative thinking and help sharpen their writing abilities and media literacy skills, fostering critical engagement with global issues.
